About Allergy Specialists

Dr. Lumry is a board certified Internist and Allergist. He is a Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and teaches at Parkland Memorial and Presbyterian Hospitals in Dallas.  

He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, completed his internal medicine training at Washington University in St. Louis and received his clinical and research fellowship in allergy and immunology from Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. 

Dr. West was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.  He subsequently completed his combined internal medicine and pediatric residency at University Medical Center & Phoenix Children's Hospital and then fellowship in allergy and immunology from Boston University Medical Center. 

He is one of only a handful physicians in the area who is board certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology. With this unique background, Dr. West brings a comprehensive approach to patients of all ages. He aims to address allergic and immunologic concerns in the context of a patient's overall health. 

Kimberly is a Certified Physician Assistant who joined Allergy & Asthma Specialists in 2005. She received her Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Texas Southwestern School of Health Professions. She is also a graduate of The University of North Texas. 

Kimberly grew up in the Dallas area, and is a graduate of Ursuline Academy of Dallas. Kimberly sees established allergy patients for appointments ranging from routine check-ups to sick visits. She is also active in the treatment of patients with asthma, immunodeficiency, and hereditary angioedema.
